Polini has released two new products. The more interesting one comes first: A set of carburetors of the popular PWK type in the sizes 24mm, 26mm, 28mm and 30mm. I bet those will be just enough to feed your big bore engine with the amount of petrol he needs.
Secondly they’ve released a crankshaft bearing kit that now includes both, the bearings as well as the shaft seal.

The Polini Motori catalogue has been enriched by three new universal bigger carburetors for 2 and 4 stroke engines.
The Polini carburetors are available in 4 diameters: 24, 26, 28 and 30mm. Their peculiarity consists in having a flat valve made of chromed light alloy to improve the sliding and more resistant to abrasion and wear. In order to maintain the same carburetion adjusting parameters, the petrol level in the float chamber has been checked in every single carburetor. The new Polini carburetors grant great performance at every rpm. They assure more pick up and acceleration when starting improving also the speed. They optimize the power output. POLINI CRANKSHAFT REPLACEMENT KIT: HIGH SPEED RANGE
Every time the replacement of some engine parts is needed, it is compulsory to replace both the oil seals and the bearings since they support the crankshaft and they work at high rpm. This is why Polini Motori has designed a complete replacement kit for the best crankshaft overhauling of the most popular Vespa Scooters and moped models.
The Polini kit includes the oil seals and bearings and they are perfectly interchangeable with the original ones. The crankshaft bearings are made of C4 riveted steel. The oil seals are made of FKM (Fluorocarbon rubber) to better resist to the highest termic stress. The seal lip is made of PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene); this feature makes them more durable than the standard original ones, giving them a smaller friction coefficient thus granting less heat dispersions caused by the friction and at the same time maintaining lower temperatures.Polini crankshaft replacement kit will fit the original engines but it can be used on the tuned-up ones also.

Given the quality we usually see on Polini high end products we can expect this to be in very high demand and maybe even exceeding Stage6 in this field. Unfortunately the carburetors lack of the black racing colour and the power jet feature that is especially popular nowadays…
